Tony Christie holds in pole position on UK charts

An unusually threadbare singles release schedule precipitated just 11 new entries to the Top 75 this week, the lowest tally for 13 weeks, writes Alan Jones. Only three new releases - those by Elvis Presley, Garbage and Melanie C - make the Top 10.
