TuneCore artists earn $36m in Q1 2015
TuneCore's Q1 financial results show that its artists enjoyed 5% year-on-year growth on their first quarter earnings, bringing the total earned over the period to more than $36 million (£23.4m).
Earnings were driven by 2.8 billion downloads and streams, a 126% improvement from the Q1 14 figure of 1.3bn. TuneCore artists have earned over $541m from over 15.2bn downloads and streams since 2006.
