UBC Media has unveiled an increased investment in audio social networking platform Audioboo.
According to UBC in a trading statement to the City, registered users of the service have nearly tripled in the last year from 600,000 to more than 1.7 million and are now growing at the rate of 5,000 a day. Among the new content partners using Audioboo are ESPN Radio in the US, the English Premier League and the Australian Football League.
