UK Music is to launch a new app that lets players take on the role of a modern day music manager.

The game, titled Music Inc. is the result of a collaborative effort from the music industry trade body and the Intellectual Property Office, developed by Aardman Animations.

Players will be able to select an aspiring artist, shape the image of their act, select songwriters, producers and studio technicians as well as take care of the books.
