UK third in global vinyl sales

The US currently leads the way in vinyl sales worldwide, with the UK in third place.

Thats according to the IFPI, which has published details on global vinyl consumption ahead of Record Store Day.

Sales increased by 55% globally in 2014 to $347 million. The market in the US was worth $182m last year, up 53% - more than five times more than Germany, which had the second largest market, worth $34m. The UK saw a 60% rise to $32m ...
