US charts: Album sales hit two-decade low

Weekly US album sales have fallen to their lowest level since at least 1991, despite Katy Perry's Prism shifting 286,000 copies.

Prism makes an easy debut at No 1 on the Billboard 200 chart, but it does so in a week in which just 4.49 million albums were sold overall, the worst tally since Nielsen SoundScan started clocking the chart numbers more than 22 years ago.
