US royalty rate battle heads to court

The battle between Pandora and SoundExchange over streaming royalty rates in the US is heading to court next week.

The Copyright Royalty Board, which controls what record labels can charge for streaming songs, will decide royalty fees starting from 2016-2022, as well as ruling on which services are interactive and non-interactive.
