Vevo has launched a complete rebuild of its web and mobile web apps, with updates to mobile, tablet and TV apps slated for the next few weeks.
Vevo TV has been more prominently placed across all platforms and divided into multiple channels. Now, users are able to flick between Vevo TV Hits for pop, Vevo TV Nashville for country music and Vevo TV Flow for R&B and rap.
Each channel has its own clear, focused programming including music videos, live concert events and original content.
A Vevo TV web channel is also launching in Germany for the first time today, after the wider platform landed in the territory at the beginning of October. Localised web channels will be launched in other markets soon.
The company has also announced a “major revision of display ads, trailer ads and pre-rolls” suggesting that partners will be able to think more about their ads as products, resulting in a better experience for themselves and viewers.
Improvements have also been made to Vevo’s appearance and usability more generally.
