2014 UK vinyl sales exceed 2013
UK vinyl sales to date have already exceeded the total sold in the whole of 2013, according to the Entertainment Retailers Association (ERA).
Vinyl sales for the year-to-date are at 844,122, compared with 829,243 vinyl album sales recorded for the whole of 2013.
It is expected that vinyl sales will exceed one million in the next three months, which is more than four times the number sold in 2008.
