Williams top of 21st century
Monday, Nov 7th 2005 at 1:45PMWilliams topped the chart with sales of 6.2m albums sold in the UK from January 1 200 to October 11 2005, followed by Coldplay at number two with 6.2m albums and Dido in third place with 5.7m.
The figures were compiled for the Channel 4 show The Biggest Selling Artists of the 21st Century, broadcast last night (November 6) as part of the UK Music Hall of Fame series.
