Decibel Songs has signed songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist Nosa Apollo under its sponsorship agreement with Bucks Music Group.
The agreement means that Bucks provides upfront investment, exclusive creative sync services and back end administration for Decibel Songs as well as ongoing support, advice and expertise.
Decibel Songs founder Tre Jean-Marie said: “Nosa Apollo’s musicianship, approach, and attention to detail is what will certainly move him to the forefront of an exciting new wave of writer-producers. We are extremely excited to be working with him alongside Bucks.”
Bucks Music Group’s creative A&R manager Anthony Hippsley said: “We are delighted to be working with Nosa Apollo. His production and writing are next level. With hit songwriter Tre Jean Marie championing Nosa alongside Bucks, we feel confident that we can help Nosa achieve great things.”
Apollo’s signing comes after he co-wrote and co-produced Talk To Me Pt. II, featuring Ella Mai, on the deluxe version of Craig David’s latest album The Time Is Now. He has gone on to work with a number of other established artists and songwriters including J Hus, Joy Crookes, Mabel, Tiana Major 9, DC and Karl Richards.
Apollo, who began his career working with up and coming artists from the capital, said: “I’m really excited to be joining the Decibel Songs team and working closely with Bucks. As soon as I spoke to them about future plans and their ideas moving forward, I felt really excited about getting going. I want to make the best music possible and I know that will be possible with the support of Decibel and Bucks.”
