The ads for Sky’s Premier League coverage in the build-up to the end of the football season on May 21 will end up burnt onto the retinas of many a fan.

This is good news for Kasabian, whose track Ill Ray (The King) has been chosen for the soundtrack. Taken from upcoming new album For Crying Out Loud (out April 28 on Columbia Records) and premiered via the ad, the song typifies Kasabian’s air-punching swagger.
