Charges dropped in Pirate Bay trial

As previously reported, the founders of the notorious filesharing site went on trial yesterday in Sweden for copyright theft. The trial is being led by the IFPI on behalf of music and film companies.

Frederik Neij, Gottfrid Svartholm Warg, Peter Sunde Kolmsioppi and Carl Lundstorm face up to two years in prison and a fine if found guilty, although they claim the site is 100% legal, pointing out that no content is held on their servers.
