Hip hop legend Heavy D dies
Wednesday, Nov 9th 2011 at 10:27AMThe rapper, also known as Dwight Arrington Myers, is reported to have suffered respiratory problems. He passed away at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in California yesterday, November 8.
Myres was the former leader of hip hop crew Heavy D & the Boyz who were the first group signing to Uptown Records that saw their debut record Living Large released in 1987.
Last month saw his first public performance in 15 years at the 2011 BET Hip Hop Awards.
