Earlier this year Tempah became the first British rapper to go platinum with his debut single in the US thanks to Written In The Stars, which sold more than 1 million copies.

Now he will appear before an audience of around 10 million people on prime-time US TV, thanks to the X Factor slot. He will perform Pass Out, his third single in the US, on the show.
