BBC Music Introducing Live has confirmed a second wave of big names for the event in London’s Tobacco Dock on November 8-10.

It builds on last year’s Amplify and will feature more than 250 panels with 100 masterclasses from industry professionals. BBC DJs Annie Mac, Huw Stephens and Lauren Laverne will broadcast live from the event, which is aimed at young people looking to enter the music industry.

The latest additions for the speaker and panel programme include Gabrielle Aplin (pictured), Maximo Park’s Paul Smith, Tom Grennan, You Me At Six and Jamie Cullum. BBC Radio 1’s Phil Taggart and BBC Radio 2’s Jo Whiley join the line-up of BBC presenters over the three days.

Aplin said: “BBC Music Introducing have been supporting me from the very start of my career. They’ve given me many opportunities such as secret festival slots, radio support and live recording sessions to name just a few. I love to watch them do the same for other artists. I’m really excited to speak at BBC Music Introducing Live and to hopefully share some useful advice on songwriting and music!”

The BBC Music Introducing Live line-up will also feature Sam Duckworth, aka Get Cape Wear Cape Fly, on self-releasing music,  while former Mercury Prize winner Speech Debelle is set to give an insight into the grants on offer from the Arts Council. British DJ and entertainment lawyer Jules O'Riordan, aka Judge Jules, will be sharing legal advice.

Musician, multimedia artist and Dazed political editor Gaika joins the programme as a speaker with Love Music Hate Racism.

The Amazons and Sam McTrusty (Twin Atlantic) will also be speaking on panels.

The programme features industry execs including Martin Mills, founder of Beggars Group. Record labels represented included Columbia, Ninja Tune, Atlantic, Transgressive and PIAS, alongside speakers from management and publishing.

Across the three days the programme includes 100 masterclasses and practical workshops designed to help aspiring musicians and professionals make it in the music industry. The event is produced by Get On Vision.

Tickets are available now, priced at £10 for a day pass.
