Katy Perry releases comeback single Chained To The Rhythm

After taking the unconventional approach of debuting her new single, Chained To The Rhythm, via disco ball listening posts placed strategically around the world, Katy Perry has now officially released the song. Marking a shift from her 2016 Rio Olympics track Rise, which was an Apple Music exclusive, the first single from Perry’s upcoming fourth full-length has been made available via all streaming services.

Additionally, Perry has released the song with an accompanying lyric video which, at the time of writing, was on 491,583 views. Katy Perry is set to perform the song at the Staples Center in Los Angeles for the 59th annual Grammy Awards.

Perry's last album, 2013's Prism, has sold 433,104 copies to date, while her biggest selling album remains 2010's Teenage Dream, which has so far shifted 1,292,280 copies according to the Official Charts Company.
