Polydor is complementing its Mamma Mia! 2 campaign with a plan to take ABBA’s catalogue to a “whole new audience”, co-president Tom March has told Music Week.
The group’s enduring collection Gold – Greatest Hits has sales to date of 4,694,604, according to the Official Charts Company.
Following the release of the film, it moved 19-7 on sales of 6,759 and its proportion of streams last week reached 33.8% of the total.
