OVERVIEW OF ROLE

Boiler Room is seeking an experienced UK Head of Sales. The UK Head of Sales role at Boiler Room is the most senior sales position within the UK company outside of the Business Director.

You will generally oversee all aspects of UK sales, ensuring the company is profitable and successful. At the same time you will work alongside the Business Director on any international sales generated out of the UK.

In line with Boiler Room's aim for significant and rapid growth the emphasis of the role is all about your ability to drive new business, plus manage & up-sell existing sales relationships all to increase profits.

At any given time, your responsibilities range from developing and innovating our sales portfolio to managing and motivating the sales team to financial sales reporting to client services.

There is currently one Account Manager based in our London office and we are presently recruiting for another Sales & Account Manager.

While all areas of sales are ultimately your responsibility, some particularly key responsibilities are:

• Co-leadership of the overall sales and lead generation strategy
• Oversee UK sales & the UK sales team, taking personal responsibility for all pitches and sales opportunities
• Deliver significant sales results based on UK targets (and unlock international opportunities where possible)
• Establishing and managing senior relationships within each of the major brands and agencies
• Identify new trends in the media sales business practice and ensure Boiler Room remains at the cutting edge of our product & portfolio offering
• Successfully integrate and efficiently work with all other UK departments to maximise creativity, planning output and sales results
• Cooperation/sharing best practice with international offices
• Work with the European leadership team to ensure smooth interdepartmental coordination

Required Qualifications/Skills:

• Experienced sales professional, able to demonstrate proven success in growing revenue and driving profits
• Must have senior level contacts at UK agencies & brands
• Proven ability to lead & grow an organization in a high-energy, results-focused environment
• Gravitas. Exceptional management, commercial & negotiation skills
• Responsibilities will be many and varied, so the candidate should have good flexibility and willingness to pick up and run with work and proactively add ideas and innovation to the Boiler Room business
• Experience of managing a sales team with an excellent track record
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Commercial nous, and negotiation skills
• Ability to handle heavy workload & willingness to work flexible hours
• Minimum 6-7 years sales experience
• Must be fully experienced in writing amazing, highly visual pitches and presentations in Keynote
• Be proficient on all Apple Mac software

We are offering a highly competitive package, with salary based on experience & proven sales record, plus a generous commission structure.
