PPL Repertoire and Member Data

PPL’s business success is dependent on having complete and accurate Repertoire, Rights and Member data on which to match, claim and pay. Good data is also key to PPLs success in processing revenue received to enable efficient and timely pay through to the membership.

The role will require co-operative and positive working with other internal departments such as International, Projects, Member Services, Distribution, Music Reporting, Legal and IT in order to seek and provide guidance and support and should provide information as requested to ensure that queries are resolved and revenue is distributed accurately. .

Direct external contact with record companies and performers and their representatives will be limited (as this is managed by the Member Services and International departments) but will require a professional and customer focused approach on those occasions.

What you’ll be doing…

As the Data Quality Co-ordinator you will support the Data Quality Manager with ensuring that data provided by PPL members is in line with the requirements set out in the Data Policy, in order for PPL to maximise revenue generation.

This role requires you to ensure all prioritized Repertoire and Member data is correct and complete within agreed timelines to enable all relevant teams to maximize their revenues in, through and out of the business, while also ensuring key artists are retained.

You will need to identify any data issues and liaise with other team members and teams to ensure members take corrective actions to resolve key data gaps at source wherever possible.


What you’ll need…

  • You’ll be an enthusiastic self-starter with an eye for detail with the following:
  • Previous experience working in a data processing environment
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and Access skills
  • Past experience or interest in working in the music industry
  • Excellent repertoire knowledge
  • Strong written communication with report writing experience
  • Good analytical and problem solving skills
