Overview
Management and co-ordination of metadata and digital assets for all new releases and catalogue titles.

Analysis of digital retail sales data and identifying key growth trends within the company’s digital music business. Producing sales reports and providing sales support as required for all physical retailers.

Supporting the Sales and Digital Compilations teams with administrative tasks as needed.

Key responsibilities:

  • Ensure accurate and timely deliveries of all products to digital music stores and resolve any metadata issues with products on-store, liaising with technical/account contacts at stores and digital distributor as necessary
  • Liaison with repertoire team, licensing team and product managers for all necessary digital assets and clearances to deliver product
  • Weekly co-ordination and distribution of sales assets to digital music stores - e.g. release schedule, product sales notes
  • Responsible for weekly management and updates of all digital / mobile sales and market reports, summarising key activity and trends to Digital Recordings team and rest of company
  • Other administrative and support tasks as required by the sales, digital compilations / mobile teams such as: monitoring of on-store profile, management of sales reports into the RoyaltyShare system, creating affiliate links for products across key retailers etc
  • Providing information of all MOS releases to relevant parties
  • Sending out sales notes and release info to customers for future releases
  • Compiling weekly sales reports including weekly figures, net sales and market report
  • Setting up new release products
  • Distributing daily midweeks
  • Providing a sales support role for national account managers

Experience and personal characteristics:

  • A proven track record of at least 1 years experience, working within the music industry or retail, preferably in a sales-led environment
  • Previous experience working within a digital environment preferred, with knowledge of metadata & digital delivery processes
  • Must be flexible and able to cope with a wide and varied workload, urgent deadlines and work fast under pressure, whilst maintaining a high level of attention to detail - this is essential
  • Hard-working, enthusiastic, driven and passionate, with proven organisational skills & time management
