PRS for Music is at the heart of the music industry leading the debate on how changing business models must ensure songwriters, composers and publishers continue to be fairly paid for their creativity.
We are looking for an Economist to lead our business intelligence function. We need robust strategic and analytical support for our senior team who must interpret changes within the UK, European and International regulatory and business contexts. To be successful in this role you must be able to turn research into simple and meaningful insights on which we can base our commercial decisions and engagement with the outside world.
You should have a good education in economics (or a related subject) with a track record of influencing debate amongst opinion formers and an understanding of the issues around copyright and the creative economy. We are looking for direct experience of when you have applied rigorous economic thinking to business strategy.
