The Junior Finance Analyst will assist the Finance team with the collation, preparation and presentation of key financial and management information.
The main responsibilities will include (but won’t be limited to):
- Compiling profitability reports – an analysis of sales and cost of sale to provide supporting information for the month end accounts.
- Overheads – accruals and analysis of costs
- Production and Marketing accruals and prepayments
- Sales reconciliation
- Analysis of variances
- Reviewing of provisions and monthly adjustments including returns and advances.
- Month-end reports and Preparation of monthly KPI packs.
- Assisting with preparation and compilation of budget and forecast data and management reports.
- Other adhoc duties as required e.g. invoicing, returns provisions and P&Ls.
The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about pursuing a career in finance, and may be studying towards their CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualification.
They will have an academically strong background and have had experience either within a similar role, or alternatively a Graduate who has completed a placement year within an analytical or transactional role. The company offers excellent career prospects, along with great benefits!
Some previous Media/Creative work experience will also be advantageous and a passion for music is essential! Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are also desirable – you must have confident and thorough working knowledge of pivots, v-lookups, and complex formulae.
