Handle is working with one of the music industry’s frontrunning record labels to search for a Junior Digital Marketing Manager. Working within the larger Digital Marketing team, and reporting to the Director of Digital, you will be responsible for delivering the highest calibre of digital tools, assets and strategy in music marketing to manage the digital presence of all artists on the label roster.

Main responsibilities:
• work with the label, management/artists and design agencies on new site builds and improvements to existing artist sites
• drive revenues through the sale of digital/physical products, affiliate deals, website advertising and e-commerce
• design and develop high calibre digital creative aspects for frontline digital marketing & artist campaigns, and tools to support these concepts - building artist websites, campaign sites, tools, assets, social media widgets and applications, email marketing templates, animated GIFs, landing pages, data capture forms, social media skins and more
• conception & management of digital creative projects (overseeing 3rd party development) and strategic project planning to ensure best practice and innovation is upheld across all digital marketing campaigns
• develop new and innovative ways of ensuring engagement - tools, apps, platforms, partnerships, licensing, games – and upkeep of the online “community” surrounding artists
• liaison with marketing, sales, creative, administrative, advertising and artist departments to ensure effective cooperative output


Key attributes:
• previous experience working in digital marketing essential
• knowledge of HTML5, CSS, XML, Javascript, PHP and SQL & cross-browser design
• knowledge of SEO, Google Analytics, at least one CMS, and using an eCRM database
• experience in working with social media APIs, Facebook and Twitter integration
• strong working knowledge of all existing and emerging social media trends and platforms - Facebook, Twitter, You Tube, Instagram, Soundcloud etc
• awareness of digital strategy and implementation of best practice compliance
• high attention to detail and appreciation of graphic design – ability to formulate innovative and successful digital marketing campaigns with a cohesive aesthetic across all artist touch points
• excellent written and verbal communication, confident communicating with internal and external contractors of all levels, and managing a Digital Marketing intern
