PPL Member Services

PPL’s Member Services department are looking for people with a passion for music and for providing excellent customer service. PPL’s members include major record labels and independents as well as globally successful performers and session musicians, ranging from orchestral players to percussionists and singers. The Member Services team strives to provide an excellent service to these members, acting as their first point of contact from registration through to helping them manage their PPL account on an ongoing basis.

What you’ll be doing…

Do you enjoy people management, business development, thrive on managing client relationships and know how to maintain multi million pound portfolios? If so then you’re set for great things when you join and head-up our Performer Relations team, who seek to provide an excellent service to key clients and work with the client on further business opportunities.

Joining the Member Services department as Performer Relations Manager you will have overall responsibility for a team of Account Managers, ensuring that the team are continuously being developed though coaching and on the job support.

This is a great opportunity to lead a high performing team that currently provided tailored account management services to PPL’s larger performer representative clients.

This role will support the team with identifying opportunities within their existing client group to ensure we are successfully maintaining our client relationships long term. You will have overall responsibility for ensuring the team achieve their targets.

The successful candidate will be expected to strategise and implement changes to ensure we are providing the best managed service to our clients, ensuring you are engaging the wider PPL team throughout in order to deliver this.

What you’ll need…

We’re looking for a highly engaging and experienced manager to drive the Performer Retentions team forward. The ideal candidate will have worked in a senior sales/ account management role with previous experience of people management and of working closely with their team to their continued development. They will be expected to be fluent in new business development and account management with an additional emphasis on process and strategy development.

Candidates will also be expected to demonstrate the following:

  • Demonstrable experience of managing long term client relationships and identifying and maximising on opportunities within these.
  • Experience of developing and implementing revenue driven strategies.
  • Strong verbal communication skills as they will liaise directly with clients as well as the Executive Management Team on a regular basis.
  • Excellent written communication skills as the role will be expected to deliver reports and analysis to a senior management standard.
  • Ability to assess situations appropriately, ensuring all responses or actions are measured and well thought-out, as well as to think commercially.
