Job Role: Product Manager
Reports to: Label Manager
Salary and commitment: Full time, permanent. Salary dependant on experience.
Location: Waterloo, London

About Us:
We are an established and independently minded record label based in Central London. We are looking for an enterprising and proven Product Manager to take control of some of our existing, already established acts as well as develop new signings within our expanding team and roster.

Job Description:
The Product Manager is expected to independently oversee and manage a variety of artists and their product commitments from inception to delivery of a viable commercial product while reporting to the Label Manager and Directors of the company. The successful candidate will have a passion for cutting edge electronic music, be adept at working alongside our A&R Manager identifying key trends and unsigned talent and have a proven track record for managing a product from the initial signing stage, right through to release and post release promotion.

The role is on an initial three month review and then annually.

About the role & Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be expected to take responsibility of the role and manage budgetary decision making from the start. You will have already been placed in a similar or more experience role with a proven track record for developing acts and campaigns with hard evidence and sales figures, for at least two years.

The successful candidate should be enthusiastic and passionate. They should understand the pressure and ever changing digital world that we work in, and with this understand the need to be ahead of contemporaries and competitors in idea generation and delivery.

A strong creative vision is essential, where you will exercise autonomous control, as you will be responsible for sourcing and delivering artwork, videos, brand direction and all other creative assets.

You will have several years experience handling marketing, press and advertising campaigns for a variety of artists and releases. You will be pro-active and a ‘complete finisher’ with a compulsive trait for continuity, organization and detail.

The role has the scope to achieve extremely high levels of success with the right candidate, and we expect only those who consider themselves to be obsessive in their knowledge of electronic music and culture to apply. As with any representative of our record label, the candidate will have impeccable communication and decision-making skills and will already be well known within the music industry.

Application: Please send your CV and a covering letter stating your availability to jobs@mtarecords.co.uk by October 31st. Due to the high number of applications received, please note that we can only reply to candidates who will be granted an interview.
