The Royal Albert Hall is one of the world’s most iconic entertainment venues, with an unrivalled history of world-class artists and performances.
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Programming Manager to join the Programming and Education & Outreach Department to deliver and oversee the diverse range of programming of live events and exhibitions featuring new and high profile artists, throughout our various secondary performances including our state of the art Elgar Room and Loading Bay.
The Programming Manager will be responsible for producing a world class programme and working with a wide range of people from world renowned performers to up and coming young artists. We are looking for someone who has their finger on the pulse, who knows who the next ‘big thing’ is and who can bring exciting and fresh content to complement our existing programme of events that has included the likes of chess boxing, live DJs, jazz, comedy, beat boxing, classical and cabaret.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working in the live events industry with agents, promoters and artists. With clear and effective communication skills and excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills, they will have experience of managing a small team and have a good knowledge of all music genres.
Candidates will have a professional manner and excellent attention to detail. The role would suit a confident team player in a fun and fast paced environment.
