VKontakte 'cleared' in dispute with Warner and Universal

On September 30, Russian social network vKontakte (VK) was ordered by a Russian court to use effective technology to prevent infringement of the recordings of two record companies.

But now a St. Petersburg court has explained why it has dismissed claims for damages by Universal Music Russia and Warner Music UK, in a lawsuit filed against VKontakte in April 2014.
