PledgeMusic launches new monthly live event

PledgeMusic has announced the launch of a new monthly live event christened ‘PledgeMusic Presents’. Scheduled for the last Wednesday of every month, the event will take place at London's Hospital Club in Covent Garden and will adopt a number of different formats, ranging from one-off intimate gigs, artist Q&A’s and album playbacks to industry seminars.

The first of the events will be a special evening with Newton Faulkner on February 22. Faulkner is currently running a PledgeMusic pre-order campaign for his next album and starts a European & UK tour with Amy MacDonald in March as part of the 10th anniversary celebrations of his debut record, Hand Picked By Robots.

The second PledgeMusic Presents event is scheduled for March 29 and will revolve around The Bluetones frontman Mark Morriss, whose third solo album, Look Up, is set for release in April and was the result of a very successful PledgeMusic campaign.

Speaking about the launch of PledgeMusic Presents, Paul Barton, managing director of PledgeMusic UK, said: The opportunity to support our artists’ campaigns with a regular event such as ‘PledgeMusic Presents’ is something that we have been looking to do for some time. It’s great to have Newton and Mark to kick things off and we have plenty more in store to follow”.

Tickets for Newton’s PledgeMusic Hospital Club gig, alongside exclusive merchandise and other special offers are available via his PledgeMusic campaign page.
