Ticketmaster and Robbie Williams partner with Shazam for world's first interactive ticket

Ticketmaster’s exclusive Collector Ticket, which is designed to allow gig goers to enjoy a souvenir from their favourite artist's tour, is a credit card sized ticket on a lanyard that comes with a ticket barcode which, when scanned, offers entry to a show like a traditional paper ticket.

Now, using Shazam's visual recognition feature, Collector Ticket holders will be able to scan the ticket and unlock exclusive Robbie Williams content and offers, connecting physical tickets to digital content and offering fans a unique, immersive experience.

Sam Isles, VP artist services, Ticketmaster International, commented: "Robbie Williams is one of the UK's most successful and innovative performing artists.  His 2017 Heavy Entertainment Show tour promises to be his most inventive yet, and the interactive Collector Ticket is a perfect addition to that. It represents a great way for fans to get closer to the artist and enjoy owning a concert ticket like never before."

The Collector Ticket with Shazam's visual recognition technology is available to purchase as an upsell alongside standard and Platinum tickets exclusively from Ticketmaster for the Robbie Williams Heavy Entertainment Show Tour 2017.

Fans can purchase their Collector Ticket for £5.95 in the UK in addition to their standard access ticket. Customers who have already purchased standard tickets will be contacted with details on how to upgrade.
