Music Week Presents: TGC (The Green Children)

Music Week Presents: TGC (The Green Children)

Based between England and Norway, Marlow Bevan and Milla Sunde met whilst studying at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts.

Their newest single "Rooms" is out today and displays Sunde's silk vocal, warm tones atop rolling synthesizers and solid electronic percussion whilst the accompanying lyric video portrays haunting imagery of ghost infested homes, tombs, splatters, and shivers, all just in time for your Halloween playlist!

Milla of TGC comments, "Rooms is a ghostly story about searching for someone who may not exist."

Citing contrasting influence from Michael Jackson to Enya as inspiration, TGC’s music appears similar in tone to artists and bands such as Electric Youth, or Chromatics for their synthpop-heavy leanings, but the duo’s music could probably be best compared to atmospheric electronic acts such as Blue Hawaii for their ability to control and manipulate texture at will, whilst still retaining their original dreamlike, and developed sound.

Releasing through Universal and Spinside Records before, the duo's newest delivery will be released via their own imprint, Illuminated City.

TGC has managed to deliver a song that is equally sweet and creepy. Pre-order HEREand tune in below.
