33 million have accessed new U2 album, according to Apple

Apple Senior Vice President Eddy Cue released a statement yesterday with the first official number of users that have accessed U2’s new album.

According to Cue, 33 million iTunes users have accessed Songs Of Innocence since its surprise release last week.

The figure includes iTunes users who listened to the album on the iTunes radio player, downloaded it to their iCloud accounts or streamed it.
