Absolute Radio launches new 60s and 70s stations
Tuesday, Oct 18th 2011 at 10:31AMAbsolute Radio 60s will launch on November 22 and will broadcast in London, the North and West of England and Scotland on DAB, as well as online.
The station's daytime line up will be headed by former Radio 2, 6 Music and Xfm presenter Pete Mitchell, who will host weekday mid-mornings. It will debut with a season of special documentaries, focusing on Motown, The Beatles, The Beach Boys, and The Rolling Stones.
