Alt Fest ends Kickstarter campaign with 205% of funding goal

The Kickstarter campaign to help fund new alternative festival Alt Fest ended yesterday after receiving 205% of its first round funding goal.

Over 593 backers pledged a total of £61,672 – doubling the £30,000 organisers had initially aimed for.

The campaign began 31 days ago and offered fans the opportunity to have their say in curating the event in return for upfront funding. Pledges ranged from £1 (for a sign up to the mailing list) to £3,000 for VIP tickets ...
