Americana show dropped from Virgin Radio schedule
Wednesday, May 26th 2004 at 1:00AMThe UK's sole Americana and Alt.country radio show, presented by Nick Stewart (aka Captain America), has been taken off air by Virgin Radio shortly after it was switched to a graveyard slot on Monday mornings.
Virgin says its decision to axe the show, which went out for the last time last Sunday, is in a move to return to 'core broadcasting'.
