Antitrust lawsuit against Live Nation dismissed

A federal court has ruled in favour of Live Nation Entertainment in an antitrust lawsuit filed in 2009 by It's My Party and It's My Amphitheatre, both owned by promoter Seth Hurwitz. 

The lawsuit alleged violations of federal and state antitrust laws, arguing that Live Nation had deliberately and illegally acquired a monopoly on the market.
