Apple app store hits 50bn downloads
Over 50 billion apps have now been downloaded from Apple's App Store, as the tech giant reveals that customers are now downloading more than 800 apps per second at a rate of over two billion apps per month.
The milestone figure excludes re-downloads and updates.
