Apple given temporary reprieve in Cover Flow patent case

The federal judge in the case has now postponed his final ruling in the case brought against Apple by Mirror Worlds.

Last week, a jury in Texas came down in favour of Mirror Worlds, but Apple asked for a delay in the final ruling. It accused Mirror Worlds of "triple dipping" in the case as the jury had ruled Apple should pay $208.5m (?131m) for each of three patent infringements listed in the case.
