The lawsuit brought against Apple for anti-competitive practices has been dismissed by a court in Oakland, California.
The company was alleged to have prevented rival services’ music from playing on iPods following an update to the iTunes software in 2006.
An eight-person jury took less then four hours to find that Apple was not liable for damages and that the update in question, iTunes 7.0, constituted a legitimate improvement to the product.
