Attendance at UK concerts and festivals rises 23% in three years

Total attendance at UK music events topped 21 million in 2014 – a 23% increase in three years, newly released figures have revealed.

Concerts attracted 17.5m fans during the 12-month period, while a further 3.5m going to festivals, generating £1 billion in direct and indirect spending for the UK economy.
