Believe Digital has joined the small list of companies that have agreed to advance any "trapped" Beatport royalties to their clients.

The online EDM music store caused controversy after sending out a letter to its label partners saying that, because its parent company SFX is currently involved in a ‘going private’ process, royalty payments have become “trapped”.

The company added that payments will be made once the process comes to an end in the next few weeks.
