DEEP SEA ARCADE
Pride of Australia, Deep Sea Arcade release their debut album, Outlands, on Monday 1st October throiugh Ivy League Records. Raised by parents who listened to house music and put glow sticks in their lunch boxes. These kids wanted to play guitars. & Beatles Music. Yet Outlands is packed with a swaggering psychedelia that even the acid-house generation would love. Described by Music Week as having ‘60’s surf pop swagger’ it’s perfectly constructed for road trips along the vast Australian highways, Bright, yet shadowy; sprawling, but with clear direction.

IDLES
After putting on a local indie club night called 'Batcave' in their hometown of Bristol, Joe Talbot and Adam Devonshire took their shared love for MTV2's 120 minutes and the need for a creative outlet and started what would become Idles. Now a 5 Piece, Idles sound has always been a hard one to categorise, but imagine something between the intense rock and roll of The Walkmen and the dark post-punk of Joy Division and you'll be somewhere close. However, anyone who has witnessed the bands live show will confirm that they are very much about doing their own thing. Joe's vocals have the yearnings of soul and the rage of punk, all riding on the blissfully driven basslines of Dev - This is more than complimented by the spiky dual guitars of Andy S and Mark Bowen and the logic-defying drumming of Jon Beavis - carving out a fully-charged live show that is as thrilling as it is unforgettable. THE TENFIVESIXTY
were formed by Jen Bailey and Rik Hornby, who discovered each other in a deserted music shop. Jen and Rik soon realised they both harboured the same thoughts and feelings on bands and songwriting. They shared a love of lost romanticism, soundtracks, 60’s girl groups, 80’s hooks, good footwear, attention to detail, and the darker side of classic British guitar pop. Seb Sternberg was recruited on drums and the three-piece was formed. The debut ‘ Do This For Me’ on Giant Haystacks/Fierce Panda follows their much-hyped track ‘Killer’s Son’ which received an intrigued reception from BBC 6Music's Steve Lamacq, BBC Radio 2 and BBC Introducing Manchester, to name but a few. With bold soundscapes and thoughtful lyrics, the upcoming album conjures up a twilight world of love and loss.

CURXES.
UK dramatic pop, visual experimentalists and boy/girl duo Curxes, released their single ‘Spectre' on 10th August 2012. The song touches on themes of "vanishing churches, the death of someone brilliant, fake rivalries, on stage burials and towns turning in on themselves" . There will be an animated video to support the track, created by Roberta Fidora. A variety of samples were used to make this song and "there is even a guest rap by Stephen Hawking".
