Bristol's largest late-night club is to close after nine years of operation.
The Nelson Street venue will close at the end of the month, with the space expected to be retained as a club space.
The number of nightclubs in the UK has reportedly halved form 3,144 venues in 2005 to 1,733 at present.
The UK will be "culturally, socially and economically" worse off due to the closure of clubs, according to The Association of Licensed Multiple Retailers (ALMR).
