Channel 4 'looking for more access to music icons'
Channel 4 is beefing up its primetime music offerings, with four new shows commissioned and C4 Music commissioning editor Jonny Rothery looking to make more documentary-style biopics.
The TV exec is keen to emulate the success of Film 4-funded Amy, as well as the likes of Something From Nothing: The Art Of Rap and Nas: Time Is Illmatic.
