Former president of Epic Records Charlie Walk will reportedly take up the role as executive vice president for Republic Records on Monday.
While contract negotiations are still under way, he will head up the label's marketing, PR and promotion teams, according to Billboard sources.
Walk re-enters the record label business after founding and serving as chairman of Madison Avenue-based advertising agency JWalk, which will continue.
