Simon Cowell is looking to sell all or part of his Syco Entertainment JV with Sony, according to the New York Post.

Sources for the US publication have said that the music and TV mogul behind the X Factor and Britain’s Got Talent (as well as its global equivalents) wants Sony to buy him out, but he’s also had interest from “other parties”.

“Sony could extend the deal or buy him out,” another source said. “It could go either way.”
