David Ring to leave UMG

Universal Music Group's David Ring is following his boss Rob Wells in leaving the company.

Previously executive VP of business development & affairs at UMG, Ring was promoted in 2005, from VP to senior VP of business affairs and business development for eLabs, a division within the group that dealt with e-commerce, Internet exploitation and new tech opportunities.

Wells, who was president of global digital business at UMG, announced his departure earlier this week after 14 years at the company. ...
