Execs warn of dangers when using data to back A&R decisions

The use of data to make A&R decisions is a risky business, and one that could result in a homogenised output of music.

That’s according to a panel of music and data experts, who discussed big data and its role in the music industry during a MusicTank debate in London on Tuesday, March 10.
