Digital Economy Bill finishes committee stage

The final session, the seventh, was brought forward from today because the Lords needed to consider other legislation. The previous session on February 3 had seen amendments discussed covering clauses 19 to 30 of the Bill, but the House of Lords completed the seventh day by moving through clauses 31 to 49 including national radio licences, video game classification and extension and regulation of licensing of copyright and performers' rights.
