Ding Dong! The Witch Is Dead has now leapt into the UK midweek singles top five as its sales accelerate in the wake of Margaret Thatcher's death.

A day after the former British Prime Minister died on Monday the recording from the 1939 film The Wizard Of Oz was the week's 54th top seller, but it has risen to 4 taking in sales up to the end of business on Wednesday, according to the Official Charts Company.
